Being Proactive Followers Of Christ

Being Proactive Followers Of Christ

This is one I believe is Extremely important and Jesus talks about it when he is talking about the End Times. It is one I think we should all aim to be aware of and understand ( I still am still in the process of trying to fully understand the depth of the message ).

The Scripture I am referring to, is Matthew 24. Jesus amazingly expresses the End Times in relation to us.

Jesus Says :

43 “But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.

44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

45 Who then is faithful and wise servant, who his master made rule over his household, to give them food in due season ?

46 Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing.

47 Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.

48 But if that evil servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’

49 And begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with the drunkards,

50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him and at an hour he is not aware of,

51 And will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing teeth.”

During this passage and a little bit prior to the extract I quoted. Jesus talks about the Hour Of Judgement. He Says Only God Knows when the Hour Of Judgement will be. He puts Great emphasis on this. We should not take for granted the time we have, We can not be so relaxed in our approach to Worshipping God and Living Through Christ. We have been Blessed with all the Tools we need, It’s time we make use of those Tools, Not only For Our own sake, But also for the Sake of Others around Us. We can not think that we will not give the Entirety of ourselves to Christ because it isn’t perceived to “fit in well with our worldly plans”, Jesus Christ is above all that we hold dear in the world.

Hold Jesus Christ in your Heart, Give your Heart and Soul and Mind to Him. Worship our God with Everything You Are. Live Your Life everyday Trying To Be More Christ-Like.

When the day Comes, Which of the two servant would you like to be ??

You can seize the so-called opportunities of this world and place them in higher priority than The One opportunity God Has Blessed us with. This will lead you down the very “broad” path Jesus spoke about.

We as Christians have to be very aware of our priorities and what we keep in our hearts.

If your in a relationship and you feel that relationship is the centre of your world. I believe you should walk away from the relationship and find God. To seek everything from another human being, When your not in a committed relationship with God is very dangerous in my eyes. Relationships are beautiful things and they can lead you to God, But the Focus of your Life should be God. Find Love and Security in him and everything else, Involve yourself in a committed relationship With God before moving into a committed relationship with another.

If you prioritise your work life or studies above, building a relationship with God, If you cherish the knowledge of the world, More so than the wisdom that God has given us. It is important for you to seek counsel from God, The knowledge of this world will perish with this world. The Wisdom God has shared with us, Will carry us into the next. Work and studies our important and they do Honour Our Heavenly Father. Do not prioritise your work and achievements of this world above God though.

I will leave with a question I ask myself every morning, That has provided me with great clarity on certain situations. I hope it may aid someone else also.

Are you doing what you believe in, or are you settling for what your doing ?

Thank you for reading, Any questions , comments or amendments are more than welcome.

Thank you again for reading, I hope this will help on your Journey Towards Christ,

Much Love and May God Truly Bless You

Chris.
