Loneliness

I felt a nudge in me, to talk about Loneliness, It’s something that has affected me in the past also many of my friends and family.

Loneliness is a big issue in our culture, it is something that affects people from all walks of life, Rich and poor alike. Loneliness is described as “the state of being alone in solitary isolation”.

As rightly said it is a state. State in the sense of the condition or mentality of someone at a particular time.

Loneliness is something, no-one would want to feel. It pulls a dark cloud over your eyes and makes your perceptions slightly darkened.

Why are so many people lonely now days ? We are now more than ever an extremely lonely generation. We are more connected than ever, you can talk to people at all times of the day, in all parts of the world. We have so many means to communicate. It’s almost a paradox that so many feel so isolated. The fact of the matter is, people perceive themselves to be lonely because of a lack of happiness. When we don’t have happiness or more rightfully said justified love in our lives, We are not made secure, and those insecurities can and do manifest into causing us to isolate ourselves. That security comes with being in a relationship with God.

In short loneliness is often a subconscious choice we make. If Love is all around us how can we ever be lonely, After all God is Omnipotent. Sadly many people ( including my self at times ) have chosen not to acknowledge God in their lives. Leading to great distress and calamity. We NEED God in our Lives, We NEED that relationship in our lives. It is the cure-all to all of our problems. Whether it be spiritual or physical or mental. He is Our Everything. The Bible Speaks about this with Adam.

Adam was completely satisfied in his relationship with God, It was God who decided He would place a women in his life born of his flesh.

“18And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.” Genesis 2:18

We are not creatures who are meant to be alone. God made this clear to us. Adam was “Alone” because he was the only one of his kind But he was NOT Lonely simply because he was not isolated in anyway, this is because he knew God, he had a relationship with God and This Fulfilled him in everyway.

This is known as Singleness. Adam was so satisfied serving God and being in Relationship with God, he saw no NEED for a companion or mate. Adam was completely self-fulfilled before Eve entered the world. It was not Adam’s idea to have a human companion, But rather God’s decision. There is a Blessing in being alone, That Blessing is that all our focus and be put onto God and His Will in our Lives.

This is not to say that our worldly relationships are not important but Rather to say they are there support us and us to support others, as we grow in relationship with God. The Only relationship that will complete us, is our relationship with God. You see countless people who look to fulfil themselves with a partner, This simply does not work. How can you give yourself to someone, when you, yourself are incomplete. It is both unfair to yourself and to that other person. The relationship is always on edge because your insecurities will be projected into that relationship in hopes to repair those insecurities.

I would like to remind you of John 16:33 where Jesus Says :
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Peace in Jesus Christ, Peace in Our Relationship with Jesus Christ. Peace meaning free from insecurity, free from fear, free from worries, troubles. We are Secured in Jesus and made free.

Fighting Loneliness is a battle. It is a battle of your will to change your perception and shift your focus back onto God. On our walk with Jesus Christ, we will sadly stumble and our vision may peer from side to side but in Jesus Christ’s name is our salvation. There is no other relationship that is greater, That should take our vision away from Him. Loneliness is a spiritual infliction. I mean this in the sense, that if you feel Lonely it will breed many other spiritual diseases that we are subject to, such as Jealousy, anger, self pity, resentment, hate and so on.

We must break this because it is a downward spiral IF we permit it. In Jesus Christ’s name we are Saved. In His Name we are made New. This means that such inflictions and troubles need not worry us, Because we are secured in His Name. In Relationship with Jesus Christ your Loneliness will die. Once your view is back on God and your Relationship with Jesus Christ. You will realise you are not alone and never have been alone.

We often perceive ourselves as being alone, Our perceptions are so misguided. We are never alone. As Love is all around us, so is Our Heavenly Father. We just need to open our eyes and focus towards Him.

I hope this has helped somewhat. As always feel free to comment.
May God Bless You.
Chris.

Our Imperfect Vision

I was at work today, Stacking CD’s. Which is what I do for my part time job, It’s a Blessing because I want to work in the music industry, So God placed me in a music shop, while I’m studying music. But as I was stacking these CD’s, and putting out stock. My mind was drawn to how we view things.

Perceptions is so very crucial to us Christians, It is so important how we perceive things as Christians. Perceptions is such a vast subject, which relates to every aspect of our lives. As there is physical perceptions, emotional perceptions and spiritual perceptions. Amazing amount stem from these and far more. I was to speak about our day to day perception of things.

We live a life, in a world where everyone sees things in a different light. Though people will agree on certain things, they will then also disagree on others. Some people may see an argument where another is unable to. We all have a unique insight. Although on occasion this can be beneficial for us or the people around us. We must be aware that our insight is limited and therefore inferior to who we serve. Which is why it is so important to involve God in all aspects of our lives.

How do you view the people around you ? In a loving manner or a Jealous one ?, How do you view certain circumstances ? are you appreciative of them ? Do you respect figures of authorities around you ? Are you aware of your position in relation to God ?

Are entire life, is relative to our perception. Those who believe and accept Jesus Christ as Our Savior, Have Salvation through what God allowed them to Perceive. If we turn our vision away from that, Our entire perception is changed due to our influence, Thus our life changes. This chain is relative to our entire life. Let God influence your perceptions. Keep Jesus Christ in your Heart and allow His Love to influence every aspect of your life. Be conscious of how you view the world around you. If there is someone in your life, you think is particularly “vile” character or spiteful perhaps, Instead of taking a stance against them, Embrace them with Love.

I found this very relative to how you treat you friends and such. If a friend of your appears to have “done wrong against you”, Why not show them love ?, After all they are your friend, Furthermore what we often perceive and accept as an offence. Was never intended to be, and may of even of ment to have the opposite affect.

We often do this, something happens. *Someone holds up your plans or forgets to call or may have broken your phone or got angry with you* and in such situations we automatically think we have been wronged. If someone has committed a perceived offence, the burden is on you not them. Remember we TAKE offence, It is not given to us.

Just as we can Take offence, We can Take the Love Jesus Christ has Offered us By Embracing Him and Acting Through The Love He Has Presented For Us... It’s not easy, *old habits die hard* but the emphasis should be on the fact they do Die.

In The Might Name of Jesus Christ All Shackles and Chains Formed In This World Will Be Broken. We can place Our Faith in that fact.

Embrace them because anyone who acts out in a negative way, is hurting on the inside. If we as Christians can learn to embrace the characters we may perceive as nasty, From that loving our loved ones, will become more and more a natural reaction. Let God Influence your vision. You will deceive yourself, and you will see what you want to see. God is Absolute.

God’s Vision is Absolute.

We can not be absolute in our decisions nor our judgments. We do not have the capability to do so.

“You can spend your whole Life looking for the truth, Or you can accept the truth and find your Life”

The Truth is Our God, He is n Every Aspect of Our Lives. Our We Perceiving Him and His Influence in Our Lives ? Are We Living Through His Influence ?

I hope this Blog has been an encouragement. As this revelation was to me, As always any comments please feel free.

Much Love Chris.
May God Truly Bless You.

Suffering in the Name of Jesus Christ pt 1

Undoubtedly we will encounter problems in our lives, We faces dilemma’s and challenges everyday, Those we can easily overcome and those we perceive to be unable to. We will face times when we suffer and may even question everything that we are, and everything we believe in.

“Why is this happening to me ? ”
“Why can’t I change my circumstance ? ”
“Why can’t I …”
“Why do these offences fall upon me ? ”
“Why do I struggle so ?”
“Why has it happened to me ?”

We ask Why of so many things, we seek an explanation as to why we are suffering, often in circumstances we deem “unjustified”. Rather than seeking the answers to the questions of Why, if we as Christians could rather seek an answer to “How can I grow from this ?”.

What we go through, we go through for a reason, Through Jesus Christ, our hardships and trials are for our benefit, as well as to Glorify God. See these moments as a opportunity, A opportunity for you to place you Faith in God. An opportunity for God to act in your life and better you Through these sufferings.

We often ask Why so much, we forget that we can Deal with such situations and Overcome these problems Through Jesus Christ, We are not enchained by the problems we face. We see problems are spend so much time focussing on “Why this has happened to me” or Questioning the reasons why it has occurred. We forget about the positive Outcomes that God has in store for us on the other side.

We can Grow and Learn from these sufferings.
An Opportunity to Grow and Learn in Christ.

As Christians, we often Allow ourselves to be enchained by previous experiences and past actions and mentalities. Such to the point that the “Why” mentality becomes so prominent we lose site that our identity comes from Christ’s Love. So a “Why” Question I would propose is this :

“Why do we allow ourselves to succumb to the control of a past experiences, When our true identity and comfort is in Christ ?”

Ultimately Suffering can lead to self pity and a large array of “Self-Focussed” Tendencies, which prevent us from focusing on God, Which is why it is important for us to acknowledge this. Suffering if we allow it to can bring Fear and Anger. These emotions are harmful to our being and our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Thankfully this is not the Life, Jesus Christ died for, But rather the Life Jesus Christ died to free us from. We must remember in Him We are Conquers, I love this so much Romans 8:35 says this :

35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."[a] 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We must be bold in our Faith and Acknowledge that we are Conquers, There is not a problem in this world we can not Overcome, The same power that Arose Jesus Christ from the Grave. We have been Blessed we. Therefore I say, Do not underestimate The Power Of Jesus Christ. Do allow problems to deceive you into a state denial. Do not deny the Power Of Jesus Christ, But Embrace it and allow it to Guide you both in your Victories as well as your Sufferings and Trials. Through His Spirit we are Edified and Through Him we may Help other be Edified.

Suffering is evitable part of our Lives on Earth. The Bible tells us this But…Suffering always has a reason, In all circumstances Suffering has a reason.

As Dr. Richard J. Krejcir Says, There are Six Themes in our Sufferings

1. To allow us to draw closer to Christ
2. To allow us to see the Greater Good which we may not see
3. It is a way for God to work in us, For others and ourselves even though we may not see this.
4. Learning and Growing, If our lives were perfect we wouldn’t learn many things
5. Can point others towards Jesus Christ

Sufferings take place, so we can learn to place our Faith in Christ and Mature in the Relationship we have with Christ. So that we can enabled to Trust in Him more and Strengthen our Faith. Giving us strength to endure and persevere. We can conclude that God is Good in this, To Bless us with opportunity to Grow in Strengt and Faith.

I Hope this has Helped somewhat.

Much Love and God Bless
Chris.
